  Very nice bakery with a very kind and helpful staff. The baked goods were top notch and the coffee was good as well. This place is worth the drive for anyone who hasn't ventured too far past main street while visiting Traverse City.

  Best wedding cakes ever! If you're looking to get married in TC or the nearby vicinity, definitely go through Potter's Bakery! They're professional, timely and they make you feel like you're dealing with your "home town" bakery. Thanks again for making our wedding day so special Kathy!

  This place is amazing. Very friendly and family owned for almost 100 years. Also very generous with samples so you always know what you're buying. My girlfriend is an expert on desserts and says this is the best bakery she's ever been to. I might have to agree with her. Everything we sampled was perfect and this bakery has a huge variety of treats.
  
  I highly recommend the nutty donut holes and the apple cherry fritter. Their specialty is the bronut which is their own invention. It is a donut filled with a decadent brownie. It is topped with tasty nuts and chocolate. This is a must for chocolate fans.
  
  I will be returning for every subsequent trip to traverse city.
