  Taco House is an institution. It's the only fast food restaurant I ever go to, and I'm there at least once a week. The red meat is chunked tender beef in a red sauce, and the pork is a bit spicier in a light verde sauce. Both are amazing. They NEVER make a mistake on your order, and they take care of their employees. Many have worked there for decades. The owners are always there cranking out quality, and the drive thru line is often backed up out to Garfield. What more can I say? Don't expect the same kind of Mexican food you get anywhere else. It's its own quality, delicious cuisine.

  The chicken taco tastes hearty like how grandma used to make on taco night. Cooked with sweet onions and peppers the chicken has a homestyle flavor. Simply topped with shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, shredded mild cheddar cheese, and sour cream, with a little taco sauce, for that classic taco night taco.

  This restaurant has been in the Traverse City area since the 90's and is a great spot to eat! The menu option range from mild yet good (the taco salad or regular tacos) to spicy and robust (try the "Green Meat" burrito - spicy green salsa with pork). There are also some dessert options - like the apple or cherry deep-fried burrito. Another recommended item is the chicken tostada - while difficult to eat, it's very good and loaded with toppings. Dine in or Drive through - this is a good and fast restaurant.

  This is one of Traverse City's best kept secrets. The wet burritos are simply amazing! Quality food is the key to this place being around for a very long time. I worked there as a teenager and can honestly say the food is made with love from a family like team.
